Welcome to our Black River Cozy Cabin!

Our rustic and cozy (but modern!) log cabin is privately owned and is the choice spot for a family vacation or romantic retreat in the Ozarks of Missouri.  We're located on the crystal clear Black River just outside of Lesterville, MO.  We're only 2 hours from St. Louis in the Ozark Heritage District.  It's an unparalled experience for relaxing, hunting, fishing, or float trips on the Black River.  Quite simply, it's a "home away from home" while your're exploring some of Missouri's natural wonders.  Please check out our area attractions and come to visit us any season of the year. Each season has something very special to offer!  Whether you want to go canoeing or rafting on the crystal clear Black River or just want to relax and explore the area, there's no better place to be.  We'll hook you up with a fishing and hunting guide or an outfitter that provides floating on the Black River in a canoe, raft or tube.  There's simply nothing better than canoeing or rafting on Missouri's cleanest river.  While here, visit Johnson's Shutins, Taum Sauk Mountain (the highest point in Missouri) and Elephant Rocks State Park or,  . . shop for Missouri antiques nearby.  If you love the Missouri outdoor experience, there's simply no better place to be than our cabin.  Make our cabin your own private and comfortable Missouri resort.  It's a much better choice for lodging than a motel or a hotel here in the Ozarks of Missouri.  If you would like to learn more about Lesterville, Missouri please click here .


 





 

Cabin Amenities

The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths & sleeps 6 comfortably.  Upstairs you'll find a private bedroom for 2 and downstairs, a large "dorm-style" room that sleeps 4 comfortably.  Warm yourselves by the natural stone fireplace and cook meals in our fully equipped kitchen (including microwave oven). There is a covered deck which extends the entire back length of the cabin overlooking the river with incredible views or, go on down to an easy access swimming dock on the river.  Outside the cabin, there's a picnic table and BBQ grill for your enjoyment.  We provide air conditioning on those hot summer days, and a furnace for those chilly fall or winter nights.
